Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are promptly addressed. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations to de-escalate tensions.
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention policies to protect company assets.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred; certification in security or related fields is a plus.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment operation (CCTV).
- Familiarity with first aid and CPR practices is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Experience in loss prevention strategies is an asset.
- Military background may be beneficial but not required.

Pay: $120.00 - $160.00 per day
