JJoin a Professional and Agile Security Team!
Location:
This position is primarily for sites in Hickory, NC. Preference will be given to candidates willing to work in the surrounding areas as needed.
Hours:
Shifts vary based on availability and assignment, often taking place in the evening or overnight, with a focus on Fridays and Saturdays (though not always).
Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Our sites are dynamic and often busy, requiring guards to interact regularly with clients, the public, and site visitors. This is a customer-facing role that blends vigilance with approachability and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment
Protect property and assets from theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities
Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems for security threats
Perform security checks on doors, windows, and gates
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activity
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors or employees as needed
Requirements:
Must pass a background check (required for state security guard registration)
High school diploma or equivalent (required for state registration)
Driver’s license and reliable transportation highly recommended
Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in security or loss prevention preferred but not required
Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is a plus
