Job Description:
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and observant Security Guard to support the safety and guest experience at our McDonald’s restaurants in Newark and Elizabeth, NJ. This role is key to maintaining a secure environment for both our team and our customers.
Pay Rate:
? Starting at $19/hr
Schedule:
? Part-Time Only
- Evening Shifts: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Overnight Shifts: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Must be available to work at least 3 shifts per week
- Must be able to travel between Newark and Elizabeth locations
Requirements:
✔️ Valid SORA license (required)
✔️ Must be able to identify and de-escalate conflicts professionally
✔️ Strong people skills and communication
✔️ High situational awareness and alertness
✔️ Dependable transportation to work at multiple store locations
Responsibilities:
- Monitor restaurant areas and entrances during peak and late hours
- Provide a visible and calming presence for guests and employees
- Observe and respond to disruptive behavior
- Work alongside management to ensure all safety procedures are followed
- Document and report any incidents clearly and accurately
