Join the team at The Nautical Beachfront Resort! We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe activities and identify potential security threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to prevent loss and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide first aid assistance when required and maintain knowledge of CPR procedures.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively, using de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
