POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, performing installation, startup and closeout of small/service projects, service, repair and support to customers. Provide troubleshooting and the technical expertise required to keep security programs and systems operational. You may be asked to train technicians on installing and troubleshooting systems to the highest standard.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Install and service security related infrastructure.
● Troubleshoot and repair physical security equipment.
● Assist in commissioning and startup of new systems to ensure proper operation.
● Provide emergency and warranty service as required.
● Communicate with customers on job status or completion (installation or service)
● Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
● Completes and turns in all required paperwork in a timely manner according to
established procedures and deadlines, i.e., time sheets, expense reports, change orders,
equipment transfers, etc.
● Maintains and controls assigned truck stock inventory in an organized manner (if
applicable)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
● Minimum 5 years security experience and with at least two being in a service
environment.
● Ability to install, operate, and service security equipment and systems.
● In-depth knowledge of security procedures related to surveillance and access control equipment.
● Ability to read and comprehend security systems drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced excel skills required.
● Prefer certifications from Saltos, Genetec, Brivo, Lenel and various VMS systems.
● Knowledge of Saltos, Brivo, Eagle Eye, Lenel, Genetec, HikVision, Hanwa, and Wave
preferred.
● Ability to work and think independently and ensure deadlines are met.
● Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaborate with all
levels.
● Must possess a positive attitude with exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
● Must have clear and professional communication skills both written and orally.

● Must have a clear driving record and provide proof of insurance.
● Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test, and security license.
