Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the security operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively. The Security Supervisor will also be instrumental in implementing loss prevention strategies and maintaining surveillance systems.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily security operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities or incidents.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks and implement corrective measures.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate security staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and enforce loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, conflicts, or breaches of security.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and daily activities for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure a coordinated response to security threats.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field or law enforcement.
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; additional certifications related to security management are a plus.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure with a focus on maintaining safety at all times.
- A background in military service is advantageous but not required.
