Seeking experienced semi dump truck operator
Full time 4 days/week. No electronic logs. No Saturday/ Sunday. Paid Holidays , 1 week vacation, paid holidays after 3 months. Variable work schedules available. OT after 10 hr/day. Typical day is 11 to 12 hours per day

Responsibilities
- Transport aggregate materials over land to and from customers and facilities, all within 150 air miles.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Daily logs must be filled out by Driver
- Loads are permitted heavy haul loads up to 120,000 lbs.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a semi truck driver
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Heavy equipment experience a plus.
- Valid Class A Commercial driving license
Summary
As a semi dump operator you will interact with customers two to four times a day. Your typical day will start at 3-4am, with you stopping a total of 2 times to load and 2 times to unload. You will be back by 4pm to preload for the next day's first load. Typical schedule is 4 days per week with the regularly scheduled recurring day off set by manager. There are approximately 25 customers, with 3 being 80% of the work. Occasionally you may load yourself with a front end loader.
