Job description
The Support Engineer is responsible for supporting administrative and operational tasks, ensuring seamless daily operations and exemplary customer service. This role requires close collaboration with the Workplace Manager. By effectively managing schedules, monitoring service metrics, and facilitating communication, the Support Engineer aims to contribute to continuous service improvement and enhance workplace efficiency and satisfaction for all stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate interactions with stakeholders and prepare clear, concise reports and updates.
- Knowledge in relevant technologies and tools used in workplace management, including familiarity with software applications for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
- Understanding of administrative and operational processes within the organization, including knowledge of best practices for customer service and incident management.
- Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret service data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, suggest solutions, and implement improvements effectively.
- Ability to work closely with the Workplace Manager and other team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Experience with scheduling and calendar management tools (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar).
- Competence in using reporting and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Familiarity with incident tracking and management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) to monitor and resolve issues efficiently
- General understanding of IT infrastructure and systems to assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.
