Job description

Salary: £75,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with Node.js
  • Strong commercial experience with React 18+ and TypeScript
  • Experience with REST APIs and modern application architecture
  • Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD
  • Experience leading or mentoring development teams
  • Terraform, Kubernetes, Redis, or microservices experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Design and build applications using Node.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Own technical architecture and key engineering decisions
  • Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js
  • Lead, mentor, and support onshore and offshore developers
  • Drive code quality, reviews, and engineering standards
  • Work with AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD
  • Collaborate with Architects, Cloud, Product, and Business teams
