Job description

Your Role

  • Strong experience in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies such as Next.js, Server Components, and Zustand; Vue/Angular knowledge is a plus.
  • Good understanding of component architecture, state management, SSR, lazy loading, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, HTTP, MVC, CDN, and modern web development practices.
  • Proficient in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools like Jest/Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Leverage AI and Agentic Coding to improve development efficiency and output quality.
  • Apply Clean Code, SOLID principles, and automated testing practices.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/Azure DevOps), and Terraform (IaC).
  • Proficient with at least one cloud platform (hyperscaler).
  • Build and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance, and maintainable frontend applications.
  • Monitor and optimize applications using tools like Datadog.
  • Familiar with OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
  • Skilled in modern IDEs, version control, build tools, refactoring, and code analysis.
  • Proactive team player with strong client communication skills.
  • Think independently, challenge the status quo, and solve complex problems.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable tasks, plans, and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code and architecture reviews.
  • Work closely with operations teams on availability, monitoring, logging, backups, and documentation.
  • Deliver quality solutions efficiently, adapt to feedback, and avoid unnecessary complexity.
  • Communicate proactively with peers, managers, stakeholders, and clients, keeping everyone informed of progress.

Your Profile

Must-Have Skills (4+ years):

  • Proficiency in TypeScript programming and extensive hands-on experience with the React framework. Experience with Angular or Vue is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing state management (Redux, Zustand etc.)
  • Proven experience with APIs such as RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SSE, Web Sockets or gRPC.
  • Safe handling and implementation of state of the art authentication methods (OIDC, OAuth 2.0) and their respective configuration for SSO
  • Knowledge of event driven architecture and its use in modern frontends
  • Experience with developer tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.

Should-Have Skills (2+ years):

  • Hands-on experience developing backend system using Node.js and JavaScript-based frameworks such as NestJS, Express.js or Fastify.
  • Proficiency in integration and E2E testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Cypress or Playwright.
  • Knowledge of databases and messaging services such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DocumentDB, Redis, RabbitMQ
  • Solid understanding of containerization using Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar.

Nice-to-Have Skills (1+ year):

  • Hands-On experience with AI and Agentic Coding e.g. Anthrophic Claude, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot
  • Experience with React Native or equivalent JavaScript frameworks for mobile development.
  • Experience with other programming languages like C#, Java or Python and frameworks such as .NET, Spring Boot, Quarkus, FastAPI or Flask.
  • Hands-on experience with Serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
  • Exposure to Cloud AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock
  • Kafka messaging platforms or other event and messaging platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog.
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
