As Senior Manager for M1 Purification, you will lead a skilled support team and help deliver more capacity and stable, high-quality production from our Kalundborg facility. You will develop your people, sharpen performance and secure quality and compliance every day.

- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to develop, coach and grow a team.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to identifying opportunities, solving problems systematically, and proactively improving processes, performance, and ways of working.
- The ability to stay calm, prioritise and make clear decisions in a busy environment where the agenda changes frequently.
- Fluency in English, and Danish—or a willingness to learn it.
Useful, but not essential:
- Experience with the production and/or development of pharmaceutical products.
- Experience in GMP-regulated environments and demonstrated ability to apply LEAN thinking to optimize processes, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll do
You will lead a support team and, as part of the leadership team, help keep two production lines running efficiently, safely and in line with requirements. You will:
- Drive organisational development and strengthen LEAN maturity through the active application of LEAN principles, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recruit, lead, and retain a high-performing team, ensuring the right capabilities, capacity, and competencies to meet current and future business needs.
- Ensure stable production output and timely product release through continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a focus on sustainable results.
- Set clear objectives and targets that realise productivity gains and cost optimisations.
- Secure product and process quality and compliance
- Coordinate, prioritise and plan resources and tasks—including portfolio management of multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
- Work closely with your leadership colleagues to create a strong and resilient organisation through collaboration, operational excellence, and people leadership.
Who you'll work with
You will join M1 Purification, a department of around 250 people organised across five support teams and a production department of seven production teams, operating two lines that produce strategically important products for Novo Nordisk. As part of the leadership team, you will work closely with your leadership colleagues to drive alignment, ensure strong cross-functional collaboration, and deliver stable and consistent operational performance.
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, colleagues work across the value chain to scale processes and products for the people who need them. In API IO Manufacturing M1 you will collaborate with a skilled team and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, delivering reliable API supply on to Drug Product manufacturing.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position. Placement within the range is assessed during recruitment based on the candidate's skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience.
