JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Partner Executive – CDW is a senior sales leadership role responsible for accelerating revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic alignment between NetApp and CDW. This leader serves as the executive relationship owner for one of NetApp’s largest and most influential channel partnerships, driving joint business strategy, executive engagement, co-sell execution, and long-term business growth. This role also leads a team of four Partner Managers dedicated to the CDW partnership, providing direction, coaching, and accountability while aligning the team around NetApp’s broader partner strategy and growth objectives.

Working closely with NetApp sales leadership, the Global Partner Organization, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Services, this leader will develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that increases NetApp market share, expands customer adoption, and strengthens NetApp’s position as a trusted strategic partner within CDW. Success in this role requires a unique blend of people leadership, executive presence, strategic thinking, business planning, relationship management, and hands-on sales execution. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing talent, engaging C-level executives, leading complex negotiations, developing long-term growth strategies, and driving field-level execution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Drive Strategic Business Growth

  • Develop and execute a multi-year CDW strategy with annual and quarterly objectives aligned to revenue, pipeline, services, and market share.
  • Identify emerging opportunities across AI, cyber resilience, cloud modernization, and intelligent data infrastructure, creating new routes to market that accelerate growth.

Lead Executive Relationships

  • Serve as the executive sponsor and relationship owner for the NetApp–CDW partnership, building alignment across sales, engineering, services, marketing, and leadership
  • Build trusted relationships with senior CDW executives and lead business reviews, strategic planning, and executive engagements that advance shared objectives.

Accelerate Revenue & Pipeline

  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue, pipeline, customer acquisition, and strategic solution adoption across CDW.
  • Partner with NetApp and CDW sales teams to advance strategic opportunities, accelerate deal velocity, improve win rates, and drive competitive displacement.

Expand Strategic Solution Adoption

  • Lead joint initiatives across AI infrastructure, hybrid cloud, cyber resilience, data management, and enterprise storage to accelerate adoption of NetApp solutions.
  • Develop repeatable customer programs, workshops, and executive engagements with sales and technical leadership to generate demand.

Lead the CDW Partner Team

  • Lead, coach, and develop four Partner Managers, establishing clear priorities, performance expectations, and accountability against the CDW business plan.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Sales, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Services, Finance, Operations, and the Global Partner Organization.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise channel technology sales, channel leadership, or partner management.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of partner/channel professionals.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale strategic partnerships within the technology industry, including relationships with large national solution providers such as CDW, Insight, SHI, WWT, Presidio, Computacenter, or similar strategic partners.
  • People management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold high-performing sales or partner teams accountable for business results.
  • Proven ability to drive significant revenue and pipeline growth through indirect sales and partner ecosystems.
  • Experience leading executive-level relationships, strategic business planning, complex negotiations, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and data management solutions.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication skills, business and financial acumen, and ability to influence across complex organizations.

Compensation:

The target salary range for this position is $340k - $380k. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
