We are looking for a Senior Service Technician to join our team and contribute to building a more sustainable future.

In this role, you will play a key role in performing field service activities, ensuring high-quality execution, and delivering solutions to our customers.

The preferred location for this position is in Istanbul, Turkey.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Service Technician, your work will include performing field service, maintenance, and repair activities on mechanical systems. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of a dynamic Field Service team with diverse expertise.

As a Senior Service Technician you will focus on these

responsibilities

  • Performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul activities on customer equipment.
  • Executing field service assignments independently or as part of a service team.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Following established safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements for the position

  • Degree in Technical High School or Vocational School. Associate degree (Relevant technical education like Mechanical Engineering) is advantage.

  • 5-10 years of hands-on field service experience. Wärtsilä Engines experience is considered advantage.

  • Knowledge about using measurement and hydraulic tools.

  • Good communication & teamwork skills.

  • Highly effective technical communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements, priorities, and work locations.

  • Customer-oriented mindset.

  • English knowledge is an advantage.

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel (approximately 80% time in a year).
