Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, full serviced Japanese Izakaya and Sushi Restaurant. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for assisting Servers, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.

Skills
- Basic Japanese Culture and Food Knowledge is a plus.
- Background in food service or the food industry is essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred; Japanese Restaurant experience is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Schedule
- Business Hour :
- - Monday to Thursday : 5:00pm to 10:00pm
- - Friday & Saturday : 5:00pm to 11:00pm
- Staff will come in 30 minutes before opening hours
Pay is hourly PLUS tips.
