Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by supporting servers and maintaining the overall efficiency of the dining area. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for guest services and a desire to thrive in the food industry, particularly within a restaurant setting. Starting pay is $12 and you will receive a percentage of TIPS.
Responsibilities
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring timely communication of orders and assisting with food handling as needed.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining high standards of service.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and provide an exceptional dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold the establishment's hospitality standards and contribute to a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a bustling environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- A background in kitchen settings will be beneficial for understanding the unique demands of this role.
