Large assisted living facility in Covington seeking a qualified Server for dining/meal services. Previous experience in similar role is required. Wage dependent upon experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Dietary Aid
Reports To: Executive Chef
Summary of Position: We are looking for a Server to tend to our Dining room. This person will take orders, server drinks, run food to tables, bus and reset tables, maintain server station and bistro, sweep and mop dining room, wash dishes in down time.
Qualifications:
Required
· Ability to read and understand the English language.
· Current Food Service Handlers Card.
.Self starter who is Team oriented and focused on providing quality service to our residents.
· Physical Requirements:
a) Free of communicable disease
b) Meet community policies and procedures regarding necessary physical health.
C) Ability to lift 25 pounds and balance trays
The criteria for bending/ stooping, pushing/ pulling and standing/ walking must be met to be employed because they are essential functions and elements of the job.
Preferred
· Experience with older adults.
Major Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
· Complete work assigned by Executive Chef.
· Assist in serving meals to residents in the dining room
· Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
· Follow established infection control policies and procedures.
· Utilize and clean equipment correctly and safely.
· Properly dispose of wastes.
· Assure that all dining services procedures are followed in accordance with established policies as directed by the Executive Chef.
· Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other personnel within the community to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
· Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information to assure resident rights are protected.
· Record any complaints and grievances and make necessary oral/ written reports to the Executive Chef.

Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directed by the Executive Chef.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
