Overview
We are seeking dedicated Servers to join our team at a bustling restaurant. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
- Take food and beverage orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner
- Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction with their meals
- Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional service
- Basic math skills for order taking and bill calculations
- Sales skills to promote menu items and upsell when appropriate
- Ability to assist with bussing tables during peak times
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Aloha POS
- Knowledge of kitchen operations to communicate effectively with the culinary team
- Excellent customer service skills tailored to the restaurant industry
Schedule: Monday- Thursday: 4:30p.m to 9p.m, Friday-Saturday: 4:30p.m-10p.m, Sunday: 12p.m-9p.m
Must be 21 and older to serve alcohol or obtain alcohol serving license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.81 per hour
