Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, particularly within an upscale food service setting. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service.
- Experience in a upscale and fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food service practices, including food handling and preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with wine service
- Ability to communicate with guests' suggested wine and cocktail pairings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff alike.
