We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our dynamic team in an upscale wine bar. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and wine offerings. As a server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu knowledge to guests, including daily specials, to enhance their dining experience.
- Upsell food and beverage items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Manage multiple tables effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with POS system is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
