Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system and manage the OpenTable reservation system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and handling standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments using cash registers and ensure accurate math calculations for transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Uphold high standards of service in line with fine dining expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong math skills for accurate order processing and payment handling.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
