We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment at our River Walk located authentic Mexican Day Of The Dead themed restaurant 'Casa Catrina'.
We have been featured on local television and several times in the San Antonio Express News.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry.
As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food and beverage selections.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Toast POS system.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Provide exceptional guest services, fostering positive guest relations.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants is preferred.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team are essential traits.
