Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
- Provide recommendations and assist guests with menu selections to enhance their dining experience.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met during food handling and service.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
