As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons enjoy their time with us, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks with efficiency and flair.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
- Take food and drink orders accurately, utilizing the OpenTable system when necessary.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, demonstrating outstanding guest relations skills.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, utilizing basic math skills for transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any special requests from guests.
- Adhere to all food handling safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with food handling practices is an advantage.
- Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction is desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
