Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. You will play a key role in maintaining the atmosphere of our establishment, whether it be in a restaurant or nightclub setting. Ideal candidates will possess strong hospitality skills and have experience with food service operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as OpenTable.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring proper sanitation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or special occasions.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash registers and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food service industry is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a nightclub or similar environment is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
