Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dining experiences by delivering prompt, attentive, and courteous service. Servers are responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring all guests leave with a positive impression of our restaurant and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast systems, including OpenTable when necessary.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest dining experience and increase sales.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Toast systems is an advantage.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is desirable.
• Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
