Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. A passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to food safety are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food handling and preparation processes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry, payment processing, and tracking guest preferences.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of culinary practices within the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Experience with Square or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for order processing and payment handling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
