Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (List the primary duties and responsibilities that are a critical part of this job. For each major responsibility, indicate the estimated percentage of time spent.)
1) Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet.
2) Maintain knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
3) Complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink.
4) Complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving.
5) Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, menus, price range and dress code of assigned restaurant.
6) Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment only as intended.
7) Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies and service procedures.
8) Maintain complete knowledge of Micros Symphony and manual systems.
9) Inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.
10) Legibly document orders when system is down and distribute orders to respective personnel for preparation of order; follow call procedures at the bar.
11) Anticipate customers needs, respond promptly and acknowledge guests even when busy.
12) Maintain positive customer relations.
13) Be familiar with all restaurant services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry.
14) Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
15) Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.

Job Requirements: (Please indicate the minimum required.)
Education/Experience: Minimum of three years experience in a high-end restaurant or related operational experience. Some experience mass marketed hospitality/special events environment preferred.
Skills: Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to deal with guests and fellow employees in a calm and professional manner in a busy environment. Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Knowledge: Experience in high-end restaurant required. Additional experience in a high-end restaurant and beverage operation preferred.
Physical: Must be able to stand and walk for a full eight-hour shift. Able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
