Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and food service, with the ability to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service in a sports bar and grill atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Support host/host duties when necessary, including managing reservations through OpenTable.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation regulations is essential.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, enhancing understanding of menu items.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
