Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
• Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling techniques at all times.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills, with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
• Knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively through strong sales techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.87 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
