We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately using cash registers or other payment systems.
- Assist with bussing tables and sanitizing dining areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training regarding menu items, food handling practices, and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings, is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and OpenTable is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player mentality with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
