Job Description:
Sirocco Mediterranean Restaurant is seeking Servers to join our team in Pembroke Pines, FL (Pembroke Shops).
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Servers. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests by delivering excellent service and ensuring their satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a friendly and outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Make recommendations and provide information about menu items
- Serve food and drinks to guests according to established standards
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including setting and clearing tables
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure efficient service
- Accomplishes opening and closing duties by following procedures for opening and closing shift; checks front-of-house equipment; checks back-of-house equipment; checks bar area; reports any safety or health concerns; reports any shortages or quality concerns.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year experience in this role
- Full Time availability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
- TIPS or equivalent certification for responsible alcohol service is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
