Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience from start to finish.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with hosting duties as needed, including seating guests and managing reservations through OpenTable.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality in line with fine dining expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Culinary experience is a plus, with knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling regulations.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is desirable; training will be provided if necessary.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check processing.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry to ensure compliance with health regulations.
