Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including specials and recommendations, to enhance the dining experience.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, ensuring timely service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Assist with cash handling, basic math calculations for checks, and processing payments efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
