We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and food safety practices.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale food service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficiency with POS systems; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Ability to upsell menu items through persuasive communication techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy environment.
- Experience working in nightclubs or high-energy venues is advantageous but not required.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
