Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and drink selections.
• Accurately input orders into the POS system (Silverware).
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are upheld - with assistance from host(s).
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Experience with POS systems is preferred.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is an asset.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
• Familiarity with fine dining service standards is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing.
• Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry.
• Previous experience in restaurant or food service roles is highly desirable.

Pay: $4.35 per hour
