Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Greet guests promptly and provide them with menus, answering any questions regarding food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while adhering to sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments through cash registers and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and ensuring that all utensils and glassware are clean and available.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as needed within the nightclub environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food service practices, including sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Experience in a nightclub or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in using POS systems such as OpenTable for order management.
- Excellent math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
