Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash register operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring excellent guest relations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and special requests.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash registers is essential.
- Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS preferred) is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and providing help when needed.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
