Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced café environment. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests while ensuring smooth operations at the register.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Process transactions at the cash register, ensuring accuracy in handling cash and credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure seamless service.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
- Effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain food safety standards.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Experience in the restaurant or food industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Retail math skills are a plus for managing cash transactions efficiently.
