Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials and menu changes to inform guests effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed.
