Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist guests with menu selections, offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and card transactions with basic math skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Familiarity with culinary terms and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Experience using POS systems is advantageous but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- A passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service is essential for this role.
