Duties

- Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
- Deliver orders promptly and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently, providing solutions when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and culinary techniques to assist guests effectively.
- Perform basic math calculations for order processing and payments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
