Job Summary
Folsom Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team! The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The Service Advisor will work closely with technicians and customers to facilitate efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services recommended, including tire service, vehicle maintenance, and automotive diagnostics.
- Schedule appointments and manage the workflow in the service department to optimize efficiency.
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles, including updates on repairs and estimated completion times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of services performed.
- Collaborate with mechanics to ensure that all customer concerns are addressed and resolved effectively.
- Promote additional services and products related to automotive sales while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance the customer experience.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive service processes, including tire service, vehicle maintenance, and automotive diagnostics.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Experience in auto service management is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with automotive sales techniques is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to customers.
- A background in mechanics or automotive repair is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
