Ourisman Chevrolet Of Bowie has immediate opening for an Assistant Service Manager/Service Advisor. We are looking for individuals with three years experience in a high volume new car dealership service department and proven track records of excellent Customer Service (CSI). Reynolds systems experience is preferred but not required. Our pay and benefits are top of the market!
Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain information
- Serve as the liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer
- Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; entering RO into service database system.
- Provide the client with an accurate estimate of repair or maintenance cost, and/or a minimal diagnostic fee with explanation of associated cost, detailing problems and pertinent information, and secure client authorization of repair or service.
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years automotive service department experience
- Fluent English--Bilingual a plus
- Documentation of past performance
- Automotive Knowledge required
- Quality Focus, Productivity, and Problem Solving
- Strong Teamwork and Communication Skills
- Out-going personality with experience at developing relationships
- Can work in a fast-pace environment, are organized, and can manage time efficiently
- Must have valid driver's license
