Experience in teaching and/or management with an emphasis on individualized instruction or a background in Social Services. Experience with individuals with ID/DD is preferred
Job Summary:
The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing all needed supports for individuals on their caseload, including hiring, training and supervision of Waiver DSPs who provide direct care services to the individuals.
Job Responsibilities not limited to but include
- Assist director with overseeing, assisting and providing input on hiring, terminating and performance appraisals of Waiver DSPs
- Oversee, monitor performance and provide instruction/training to Waiver DSPs.
- Coordinate with Waiver DSPs to assure the needs of individuals are met and assure appropriate supervision, training requirements, and scheduling is provided.
- Participate and/or assist the IST Team in the development, establishment, and implementation of individual and overall program plan for the individual
- Oversee each waiver site to ensure individuals are being provided with opportunities for community integration, independence, normalization and least restrictive placement.
- Ensure that all safety standards are being maintained at each waiver site
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.11 per hour
