Role and Responsibilities
- Supervises incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Review orders, production schedules, blueprints, or shipping/receiving notices to determine work sequence and material shipping dates, types, volumes, or destinations
- Confer with customers, supervisors, and/or other production management to ensure efficiency and resolve issues
- Direct staff in receiving procedures and perform cycle counting
- Directs movement of shipments from platform to storage and work areas
- Recommend and implement measures to improve shipping and receiving processes
- Maintain or verify records of time, materialism expenditures, or crew activities
- Recommend or implement personnel actions, such as employee selection, evaluation, rewards, or disciplinary actions
- Perform or schedule repairs or preventive maintenance on company vehicles or other equipment
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma
- 4+ years in machining production environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask
Preferred Skills
- Associates of Technical Certification preferred in Organizational Management or related field
- Computer skills a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
