Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our distribution center. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including loading and unloading shipments, managing inventory, and utilizing warehouse management systems.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments with precision to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Utilize forklifts and reach trucks to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Process incoming and outgoing packages, ensuring they are properly labeled and documented.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations.
- Perform picking and packing duties for order fulfillment, ensuring that all orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow within the distribution center.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
Experience
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role within a distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment is required.
- Experience with e-commerce order fulfillment processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.31 - $21.05 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
