Parkway Toyota of Boston, a leading automotive dealership, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shop Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. As a Shop Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.
Seeking applicant with knowledge of automotive service systems, components, and functions. Additional automotive service and shop management experience may be rewarded with bonuses and/or increased compensation.
Responsibilities:
· Efficiently dispatching work orders to technicians based on skill set and workload.
· Coordinating with service advisors to prioritize and schedule customer appointments.
· Monitoring repair progress and communicating updates to both customers and internal teams.
· Utilizing the dealership's management system to track and manage service activities.
· Collaborating with parts department to ensure timely availability of required components.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Shop Dispatcher in an automotive service environment.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology.
· Proficient in using dealership management systems.
