Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent with a strong background in electrical systems to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site supervision, ensuring quality control, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining communication with general contractors and their on-site personnel. This role requires regular weekly travel to project sites, hands-on field work, and leadership throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities related to electrical installation and integration across commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
- Serve as the primary on-site representative for the company, reporting directly to project managers and senior leadership.
- Maintain daily communication with the general contractor and their site personnel to ensure alignment of project goals, timelines, and safety standards.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure work is completed per plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Perform and oversee hands-on electrical work when needed, particularly during critical phases or problem-solving situations.
- Monitor site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct and document daily site reports, including progress updates, delays, and issues.
- Participate in project planning meetings, inspections, and coordination sessions.
- Ensure the timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any site conflicts or technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets, escalating concerns as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Superintendent role or similar field leadership position.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in commercial or industrial electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and working with general contractors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with construction scheduling tools, reporting software, and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel weekly and stay on-site for the duration of projects (may include overnight stays).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
- On-site project locations – outdoors and indoors, occasionally in high or confined spaces.
- Physically demanding tasks may be required.
- Frequent travel (weekly) with potential extended stays on location.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
