Job Title: Interior Finish Technician
Location: New Port Richey
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour
Reports To: Site Supervisor or Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Finish Technician to join our construction team. This role is responsible for high-quality interior finish work including trim carpentry, drywall, painting, light fixture installation, and general interior hardware finishes. Tile installation experience is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Install interior trim such as baseboards, crown molding, door/window casing, and cabinetry
- Trim carpentry
- Non structural framing
- Hang, tape, and finish drywall to a smooth, paint-ready surface
- Perform interior painting: walls, ceilings, trim, and touch-ups
- Install light fixtures, mirrors, towel bars, and other accessories
- Prep, patch, and repair drywall and painted surfaces as needed
- Assist with or perform tile installation (flooring, backsplashes, showers, etc.) if qualified
- Install lvp flooring
- Follow blueprints, finish schedules, and supervisor direction
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
- Communicate progress and site needs with team and supervisors
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in finish carpentry, drywall, painting, or related trades
- Knowledge of tools, materials, and safety protocols
- Attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for extended periods, and using ladders
- Tile installation experience a plus
- Reliable transportation and residence within 20 miles of New Port Richey, FL

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
