Job Overview
Seeking a motivated and creative social media manager to help Freedom's Edge build an audience and engagement for our newest beverage brand, Dr. Lovejoy's Maine-Made Elixirs. We are a scrappy start-up with the fastest growing hard cider brand in New England, looking to expand into the non-alc category with a hemp-derived THC beverage. We're looking for a part-time person (could evolve into full time as we expand) to help us use social media channels to help us grow.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create & curate published content (images and video) across multiple social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights using social listening tools
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
- Manage ad campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads.
- Foster relationships with influencers to enhance brand visibility and image
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in social media
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or similar role
- Proficiency in graphic design and content creation.
- Strong understanding of content creation principles and best practices for various social media platforms.
- Passion and talent in photography and video are a strong plus
- Familiarity with social media advertising strategies and tools
- Relationship management skills to engage effectively with audience and partners
- Ability to analyze date and derive actionable insights from performance metrics
- Knowledge of social media best practices and current trends in digital marketing

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
